Sketch the shoppers

Let's meet in the food court, to the left of the Starbucks (and near KFC), Oakridge Centre, at 1 pm. We can reconvene at the same spot, at 3:15 pm. This event will be in the midst of Christmas shopping. There is lots of subject matter here in the mall, with the teeming shoppers and retail visuals. In the food court, you can draw people in relative comfort, with the benefit of natural side lighting too (see photo).

• Oakridge 41st Avenue Station is on the Southwest corner of W 41st Avenue and Cambie Street. It is a five minute walk to the food court.

• the #15 Cambie bus stop (SB Cambie St FS w 43 Ave) is just outside the food court.

• There is ample parking under the mall but the South Parking outside the Safeway entrance might be more convenient (entrance southbound from Cambie Street).

• You can even squeeze in some Christmas shopping too ;
