FYI .. On my 30th anniversary year as a programmer, I have just made my first software release as an independent developer. I'm really happy with the product, and it's going to get better and better after 1.0.0. Nobody knows about Tizen, but it's going to be huge. https://twitter.com/monotizen/status/487253327172759552

Because Gear 2 only supports HTML5 right now, we cannot use Mono on the watches, only on the forthcoming phones and other profiles, but I'm sure that C# will come to wearables soon enough too. It's already there for Android Wear with Xamarin.Android, I believe.

http://monotizen.com is the website. I also have RPMs ready to go for the pending Mono-3.6 release.

      Also ... Wearable C64 project cancelled, because the Tizen 2.x browser isn't good enough :-( ... https://twitter.com/Bo...

Hey everyone! LG G and Samsung Gear Live smartwatches are on sale right now in Google Play, and you can build apps for them with Xamarin Studio. https://play.google.com/store/devices/collection/promotion_500013a_android_wear_ca

I bought a Gear Live. The LG looks ugly to me, and it's more expensive. I think the Gear Live should be arriving imminently. I'll be very interested to see how it compares to the Gear 2. Very similar hardware. One on Tizen the other on Android Wear.

So I got my Gear Live. Very boring in comparison to Gear 2. Just one app - notifications. No phone. No camera. No video. No speaker. No full-control third party apps. Android Wear sucks ... :-)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
