You can help change the world. We're serious. Want to know how? Come to our Vegan Activist Empowerment Conference on Saturday, April 6th at Occidental College. The conference is an all-day long, free event. Open to anyone who believes in the power of motivating others to make lifestyle changes that will benefit the environment, other nations, their health and the well-being of billions of animals worldwide.
The conference will feature a lineup of 10 well-known and successful activists of the cause, who will speak about issues ranging from the human rights impact of a plant based diet to the health benefits of it, and much more. These speeches will be interspersed with activist-training sessions in which you will be taught the skills to become a better activist. This includes a class on public speaking, and question-response training that tests your ability to respond to the questions with which you will be faced as an activist of this cause. The conference also will include three vegan meals to sustain you through the day.
Event will be held at Dumke Commons.
I'm a featured speaker at this event. So, I'm super-excited - of course! Contact me, Charlotte, at charlotte.cressey@gmail.com if you want to carpool to the LA area for the event! :)
