This group is for people who want to learn more about baking with vegan ingredients. This is not really intended for professional chefs (but please feel free to join if you'd like and teach the rest of us!), just ordinary people who love to bake and would like to help the environment at the same time! We will travel around the various farmers markets, and get a feel for the locally grown ingredients available around us. We will also try to find places where we can bake our desserts as a community, but this may prove difficult. We'll have to keep a watchful eye, and ask around to find a place to help us out - a community kitchen would be perfect, if you know of one!
The Suburban Raw Food Meetup has this on their calendar, and when I saw it, I thought it would be right up our alley! Please follow the instructions below to RSVP, as this is a paid class, and you must register through the TBI Education Center. According to the Raw Food Meetup, there are 19 spots left. The cost is $35 per person. They recommend early RSVPing, and the deadline to RSVP is 11/30. Read more
What members are saying
“ This is a fun meetup for those who are either vegetarian, vegan, or who like the idea of using fresh ingredients to make healthier desserts, without using animal products. ”
