Turtle Head Peak via Calico Basin

We'll start from Calico Basin and scramble up the Turtle Head from East face.(opposite side from standard route)
Compare this route with standard one, its about 1.5 times longer and elevation gain plus couple of class 3 scramble.
After we bag the peak, we'll come down from standard route and come down the Ash canyon back to the Calico Basin.
Since this is off trail hike and many scrambles, I don't recommend this for Begginer hikers. Its a loop Route and we won't able to pick you up on the way back. Please send me an email if you are not sure you can make it or not.
Bring lots of water, food/snacks, cap/hat, sunglass, sunscreen, jacket, rain gear(poncho) and gloves.
Let's meet at Albertoson's Parking Lot on W.Charleston on 9:00AM. Then we will carpool from there.
