Last Sunset Hike and Gourmet Picnic

We will NOT be off the mountain by dark, bring a light.

Picnic 7:30 pm Lights out 10:00 pm

Location: Parking lot on very south side of Lone Mountain Park At the very end of Craig road on the SE corner of the mountain just inside the 215 beltway @ Lone Mtn exit

We are NOT taking the trail, we are taking the scrambling route! VERY STEEP HIKE! but it's only 1/2 an hour and not technical! SUCK IT UP!

Rehydration: Think QUALITY! not Quantity If everyone brings enough food for 10 people we will end up with 10 times to much food! Bring a small chunk of gourmet cheese ($3 at whole foods) instead of a cheese plater! or go to China Town and buy a fruit you have never heard of (not Durian)! Lighted picnic area with grills, tables and restrooms. Bring charcoal. Hike leaves promptly at some time. ALWAYS bring water, light and jacket **
