Hidden Forest OVERNIGHT backpacking trip - day hike to Hayford Peak

Details
We will be leaving Las Vegas at about 8:30 Friday morning. IF ... we have high clearance vehicles, we can move faster down the gravel roads and get to the trail quicker.
This is what Bird and Hike says:
Elevation gain of 2110 feet
11.4 miles
Moderate
6 hour hike - BUT we are backpacking.
Expect to take about 4 hours to get to the cabin. I would like to get there around 1 pm and set up camp. Relax and have fun.
There is a fully stocked cabin up there. So don't worry about getting cold. There is plenty of wood and plenty of blankets, extra supplies up there.
STILL - bring tent - sleeping bag - pad - warm clothes (including jacket, gloves, hat, etc.)
Bring enough food for Friday and Sat.
Bring water filter if you have one. The water is flowing pretty good up there right now - you should only need to bring in a couple of liters and fill them when we get there.
Bring your stove and other supplies.
I would like to continue on to Heyford Peak on Sat. LEAVING OUR GEAR. Bring a day pack with water bladder with you. It's another 3 mile hike UP to the peak. Coming back down to the cabin is 3 more miles and returning to the start of the trail is close to 6 miles. That's 12 miles on Sat. We will get an early start at the cabin - packing up before the hike.
We will be climbing another 2000 feet up on Saturday, but then on the way back it's 4000 feet down!
You do NOT have to do the hike on Saturday, you can wait for the group at the cabin.
If you would like to stay Saturday night - that's fine, but I need to leave on Saturday. We'll divide up the groups by car pools if you want to stay another night.
Looking forward to a fun trip.
