Calico Tank & Peak

http://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/2/0/d/2/event_179948402.jpegCalico Tank is one of the easiest hike in the Red Rock Canyon. Its famous and many hikers favorite place to visit.
The tank hold the rain for a while, but we won't see it this time.
After we took a break by the Calico Tank, we scramble up to the Calico Tank Peak. Its a steep 350 ft of class 2 scramble.
We won't scramble down the same route. Instead, we traverse over the Calico Hills towards Turtlehead Jr.
There are sevral class 2-3 scramle along this route. Also there are couple of exposure too.
We will pass upper calico tank, but it also will be dry this time.

Since I got injured leg, this hike is in slower pace. (but, not very slow pace)

Please Bring water & snack. We will take a lunch break at Calico Tank or Peak.
We will meet at Albertson's parking lot and carpool from there. Please chip in $2-3 for your driver.
