Reservations are required and hard to come by. We will have lots of interest in this incredible event. If you can make it, wonderful, if not, we will be going again.

I have to book our reservations on February 1st. Payment will be for camping only. I will make payment arrangements for the mules later if you need them.

*CAMPING FEES 3 NIGHTS"

Thursday, Friday, Saturday- $120.00

These prices include all reservation entrance fees, camping fees, environmental fees, taxes and paypal fees. The mule prices will be in addition to these. Please specify in your RSVP if you need mules and if they are for packs or for riding. I will collect the mule money later

Mule rides in must be paid for in advance also I will let you all know when I am ready to collect. *OPTIONAL TRANSPORTATION: Again, this must also be paid in advance! The Local Indians provide traveling services for an extra fee.

1.)You can have your pack taken in by mule/horse from the trail head to the campground for $96.50 per 135 lbs (3 people can normally team up and split this cost). This requires advance reservation which I am required to make.

2.)If you want to take the mules in you have to have 1 mule for you and another for you and two others gear. This is 3 to 4 packs or duffles weighing up to 130 lbs. In other words you will have a 1 way fee of $96.50 to ride and another $96.50 to split with your friends 2-4 ways for your gear. The mule reservations back out of the canyon can be made and paid for by you while you are there. I do not make this reservation for you.

3.) Another option is to have your gear flown in on the helicopter for to the village for $20 while you hike down and then you must backpack the last two miles. You can also fly in and out with your pack in your lap for $85.00 per person each way. The locals have priority on the helicopter and it is first come first serve. You will have to pack the last two miles into the campground and back to the village should you choose to fly back out. These prices are all one way. The helicopter only flies on SUNDAY, MONDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. You can pay for this at the hilltop.

You can mix it up any way you choose. Carry your pack in, and have them pack it or fly it out, or pack it both ways yourself, whatever you decide is fine.

*DIRECTIONS: Travel south on Route 93 for about 100 miles to Kingman, AZ. Fill your gas tank here.Go 2 miles east on I-40. 60 miles north/east on Historic Route 66 to Peach Springs, AZ. 55 miles north on Tribal Road 18 to Hualapai Hilltop. Some people camp in their cars the night before, some people stay at the hotel in Peach Springs, and some people drive from Vegas that morning. That can be decided individually. Please be careful driving at night on tribal road 18 because of cattle, elk and other wildlife wondering onto the roadway.

"There are no refunds on this event under any circumstances. You may give away or sell your reservation at any time"

The hiking in the Havasupai canyons is said to be the most beautiful hiking and scenery in the entire country. If you havent been yet, then this is a must see place. Every year the number of people that goes increases because people always want to return. Dont miss out on the fun with friends, the hiking, the fabulous turquoise blue water and the numerous water falls.

This is a 11 mile one-way hike that is moderately difficult. The first 2 miles are downhill with a 2000 foot elevation change. Which means on the hike out, the last 2 miles are up 2000 feet. That is the only difficult part aside from the distance and backpack weight. After the elevation change, we will be hiking through a winding canyon that eventually leads to the Grand Canyon.

It is 9 miles from trail head (Hualapai Hilltop) to the Supai Village. (The store and cafe are two miles from the campground) Bring everything you need to survive for the weekend in your pack. It can take anywhere from 4 to 6 hours give or take to get to the campground depending on your pace and abilities. So, the earlier you start the hike to beat the heat the better.

  • WATER: There is a spring in the campground that we have used for water on previous trips without any problems. You can bring a water filter if you have one or share with friends.

  • FOOD: The village has a small store and cafe to purchase limited food items. You will be responsible for feeding yourself. We tend to all eat dehydrated meals. You can always team up with friends regarding stoves/fuel... arrange that separately and amongst yourselves.

There are no alcoholic beverages allowed in the reservation so pack your bags, bottles, and flasks accordingly ;-). Be prepared to pack out your own trash.
