New Vegetarian Café

Would you be interested in supporting a vegetarian restaurant with a Puerto Rican flair?
If so, please continue reading...

Many years ago, and motivated by our newly found passion for meatless cuisine, and our love for our traditional Puerto Rican food, my daughters and I decided to combine the two and created “vegerican cuisine" -Puerto Rican inspired dishes with a vegetarian twist.

We are reaching out to you, as we have decided to open a café here in Orlando that will feature this unique cuisine. In order to do this, we have created a project that will help us secure the necessary funds to get our café off the ground without having to use traditional methods.

Our project was accepted by Kickstarter, the world's largest crowd funding platform for creative projects. With Kickstarter, thousands of people from all over the world, pool their money and resources together to support other people’s efforts.

In exchange for their donations, if the project gets funded, they get the awesome rewards they choose based on their pledge. There is no minimum amount to donate and every little bit of money helps.

As you will see when checking out our project, a lot of time and effort has been put into our campaign. It is truly a labor of love, but as you know, sometimes love just ain’t enough :o)

We need your help. We MUST raise our goal of $50,000 within 30 days, or we do not get anything, not one penny… nada!!!

If this project is successfully funded, Amazon, not Kickstarter or us, will charge your card with the amount pledged when the project reaches its funding deadline (March 17th). If the project does not reach its funding goal, your card is never charged. That's why they are called pledges (a promise to donate) not donations.

Think about it, all we need is 1000 people to pledge $50 (not an impossible task with the help of the Internet), we get to open our café and you have another great place to choose from when you go out to eat!

So please go to, become familiar with the site and then search for The Vegerican Project or you can go directly to: and pledge.

You can also help us by:
•Calling your friends and getting them excited about The Vegerican Project and MAKING THEM go to our Kickstarter page
•Emailing our message to your friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors and include the link to our page
•Posting our link on your Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and any other social media account you belong to or manage
•Writing a post about our project on your blog and include our link
•Hanging this flyer up at your church, club or community bulletin board, etc

We will appreciate any help you can give us.

Thanks so much for your attention.
