This is a group dedicated to loving and caring for Fussy, Colicky, and High Needs Babies.

My lil' man was born in August 2011, and we soon discovered the true meaning of "High Needs." After searching all over the Central Florida area for a HN support group, none turned up. I realized I couldn't be the only one with a HN child, so I decided to start a Meetup group.

The focus of this group are parents who care for a Fussy, High Needs or Colic baby and follow an Attachment Parenting (AP) style. Breastfeeding, baby-wearing, co-sleeping and limited parent/child separation during the pre-school years are shared ideals.

It is not necessary to follow this style of parenting in order to be a member of this group, but please understand that this may not be the best group to receive support from, since the majority of experiences and advice will be along the lines of "parent-care is best".

What you WILL find here is shared experiences, advice and suggestions on  adapting to being the parent of a HN child. You will also find a safe environment to vent your frustrations and a supportive environment for discussing how to 'keep him happy so that your both happier".
