Let's meet, enjoy dinner and hear about the Chinese head tax

Our group is primarily about promoting friendship and cross-cultural understanding between the people of Canada and the people of China. We eat, we talk, we have interesting speakers and we have fun.

New here from China? We offer a wonderful venue for you to mix with native English speakers. The VCCFA should also appeal to anyone interested in: Chinese culture and Chinese food! If you’d like to make new friends (cross-cultural or otherwise), we may be just the group for you. Our members range from about 12 years of age to 90.

We meet at the Golden City Restaurant [721 Fisgard Street, Victoria, BC, V8W 1R8] on the last Sunday evening of the month from January-June, then from September-November. Cost of the meal is $22 for members, $25 for non-members and $12 for students.
