Workshop: Nonprofit websites with Drupal

More than 50 Victoria area nonprofits use websites built with Drupal to connect with their members and communities. This free workshop is designed as a chance for nonprofit staff and volunteers to expand their knowledge of web technologies as well as share their questions and insights. We'll have professional resource people on hand to present and answer questions.

Introduction to Drupal and how it's used by nonprofits in Victoria and around the world. A chance to share and learn from other groups using Drupal. What's been effective in reaching out and engaging membership and communities? What are some issues and problems they could use help with? Introduction to Open Outreach (http://openoutreach.org), a Drupal distribution for nonprofits that can be used to build a feature-rich website quickly and cheaply. Gauge interest in further workshops. What topics? Ideas for locations and presenters?
