About Monitoring the Cloud, ZeroMQ and Continuous Performance Monitoring
Details
We have the following agenda for this second meetup:
Dave Cottlehuber will talk about monitoring the cloud (=thousands of servers) using a number of different technologies including CouchDB, Riak, Riemann and Graphite (postponed to next time) Michael Renner will talk about Keeping Postgres happy - how to prevent common mistakes, get insight in database activity and plan for the future. Thomas Klausner will talk about ZeroMQ, sockets on steroids, and how it can be used effectively for a number of different practical use-cases I will talk about continuous performance testing using Phantom.js, YSlow and Jenkins The talk session should not be too long and leave room for a lot of discussion. Still, there always is room for additional ~5min Lightning Talks! If you have an interesting idea or topic to present, you are welcome to contribute!
Venue will be the tripwolf and Sclable office at Spengergasse 37, 1050
Cheers,
Michael
