Greg Mazurek (https://www.linkedin.com/pub/gregory-mazurek/14/a16/71b) is a Director of Software Engineering at Capital One (https://www.capitalone.com/) in NYC where he is building a brand new software engineering office. He was hired to create a software engineering practice that can help change retail banking for good. The team is currently working on customer facing features with the super-lofty-probably-impossible-but-we’re-still-going-to-try goal of overhauling all of the legacy systems and processes.

Previously, Greg led and worked on customer facing and mobile teams at Gilt.com (http://gilt.com/) for 4 years. Prior to that, he worked for a variety of start-ups in both NYC and SF. He has given presentations about user experiences and code at NY Frontenders Meetup, Refinery29, XO Group, NY CSS Meetup, Responsive Web Design NY Meetup, WalkaboutNYC, Gilt, and Uncubed. He also blogs frequently on https://medium.com/@gregorymazurek and tweets rarely at @gregorymazurek.
