Mind/Body/Spirit Techniques for Reducing Stress & Enhancing Mood
Four Saturday mornings - Feb. 19 and 26, March 5 and 12, 10-11:30am
When we experience chronic stress, our nervous systems get stuck in 'high alert', creating numerous physical and emotional consequences. Mindfulness techniques reset our nervous system back to a more healthy state and even create new, healthy neuropathways in our brain.
Learn how to:
- Use various breath techniques to calm and soothe or energize and activate.
- Control obsessive and racing thinking.
- Experience relaxation through visualization and meditation.
- Become more present in the here-and-now.
- Use humor and play to live more fully.
- Learn different yoga postures to address certain mental health problems.
Cost: $55 for all four sessions

About the presenter: Marsha Engle, MSW, M.Ed., is a clinical social worker who has many years of experience utilizing mind-body-spirit approaches for maintaining physical and mental health. She has specialized training in trauma (EMDR) and in working with family issues and addictions. Marsha blends her knowledge of cognitive therapy with her knowledge as a RYT-200 Yoga Instructor, massage therapist, and Reiki practitioner to facilitate healing at multiple levels.
