Starting from the winner project of the first Eclipse Open IoT Challenge, Carracho, the purpose of this webinar is showing how a good idea can become a success project with limited efforts in writing code.
Carracho is a cloud vehicle monitoring application that reads vehicle ECU (Engine Control Unit) parameters, capture GPS data, provides anti-theft feature and detects security issues like flames or gas leaks.
The Solair IoT Cloud Platform and the Eclipse Kura framework are the two pillars on which the application is based – join us to learn more!

Valeria Naldi is the Director of Solair IoT platform development. She started developing code many years ago and although she moved to the management of development teams, she still loves writing code. She is always interested in exploring new projects and new technologies and, for this reason, three years ago she accepted the big challenge to build a new development team in Solair and a completely brand new project, like the Solair IoT Platform.

Davide De Cesaris is an R&D Engineer working at Solair, Italy, and winner of the Eclipse Open IoT Challenge. He is very passionate about IoT and all what concerns sensors, devices, connectivity and protocols.
In Solair he both works on the Solair IoT platform code and on a Java OSGi software framework on top of Eclipse Kura for gateways and embedded devices.
During his free time, he likes driving his motorbike, playing tennis, travelling but also developing prototypal projects based on Kura.
