## NW Veg Vancouver Potluck
This Month Presentation:
" Thrive Umpqua, Americas 2nd Certified Blue Zone”
By Juliete Palenshus
Juliete will tell us what it took for Umpqua Valley to go from an area in Oregon to a certified Blue Zone and what that means.
Thrive Umpqua is a community-led well-being initiative that supports people working together to improve well-being. Our organizational ambitions drive our Thrive Umpqua Team to constantly work towards the development of inclusive education and activities. In doing so, we are transforming local places and personal health through the power of knowledge and permanent and semi-permanent changes to the environments where we spend the most time.
Thrive Umpqua envisions a happier, healthier, and more accessible across the Umpqua Valley with plenty of alternatives that ensure our neighbors, family and friends thrive.
