This group seeks to bring together those interested in or currently living a compassionate vegan lifestyle for enjoyment and activities. Being Vegan is a journey in life and no two people travel it the same. So why not join and get to know a great group of people who are walking the same path. We invite you to join us for the Annual Compassionate Thanksgiving Potluck—a joyous gathering where kindness, community, and plant-based goodness take center stage. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with old friends, make new ones, and enjoy a delicious feast that’s kind to animals and the planet.
Attendees need to be members of NW VEG. Please join us at a discounted Gratitude Celebration Special membership rate of $10 for your first year.For the potluck, please bring a plant-based (no meat, dairy, honey, or other animal products) main dish, salad, or dessert; a card listing its ingredients; and plates and utensils for your use. If you come alone, figure the amount to serve 4-6; increase the amount 4 servings for each additional person in your party/family. Reserve your spot!

The first video is "How Ultra-Processed Bread Took Over America". It is narrated by Mia de Graaf, a health editor at Business Insider. She covers many aspects of bread-making: the history and business, ingredients, health risks, and what to look for when you shop.
The first video my leave you with some questions about gluten. Can whole grain bread be a healthy food, or should we avoid all bread because it contains gluten? Here are two videos that answer the gluten question:
