This group seeks to bring together those interested in or currently living a compassionate vegan lifestyle for enjoyment and activities. Being Vegan is a journey in life and no two people travel it the same. So why not join and get to know a great group of people who are walking the same path. Harmless Halloween and Trunk or Treat!
Leaven Community Center, 5431 NE 20th Avenue, Portland, OR, USJoin Vegan Scouts and Try Vegan PDX for our biggest event of the year, Harmless Halloween! Thank you to our sponsor, NW Veg, for helping us bring this event to *death*!
New this year: VIP hour! 4pm-5pm
-There will be 50 special VIP packages available for families, which will include commemorative merch. Great for families who have concerns about crowding, or just like merch!For everyone else, doors will open at 5pm! Vegan Scouts is suggested $5 per person for the event, no one turned away due to lack of funds.

What will be at this year's Harmless Halloween?
-Celebrate Halloween and Día de Los Muertos in a harmless way! Come in costume! This is a vegan, family-friendly event!
-Try Vegan PDX will be organizing their 3rd annual Trunk or Treat! (Bring a bag!)

This Thanksgiving, why not celebrate with compassion at the heart of your holiday meal? We invite you to join us for the Annual Compassionate Thanksgiving Potluck—a joyous gathering where kindness, community, and plant-based goodness take center stage. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with old friends, make new ones, and enjoy a delicious feast that’s kind to animals and the planet.
Attendees need to be members of NW VEG. Please join us at a discounted Gratitude Celebration Special membership rate of $10 for your first year.For the potluck, please bring a plant-based (no meat, dairy, honey, or other animal products) main dish, salad, or dessert; a card listing its ingredients; and plates and utensils for your use. If you come alone, figure the amount to serve 4-6; increase the amount 4 servings for each additional person in your party/family. Reserve your spot!

Whether you're running, walking, trotting with a stroller, or bringing your friendly pup along for the fun, Tofurky Trot welcomes all ages and fitness levels to join in a celebration of compassion, gratitude, and plant-based living—all to support local farm animal sanctuaries.
