Voting Assistance Officers are people who help military and overseas voters be able to vote. They are made up of military Voting Assistance Officers assigned to every military unit, State Department Voting Assistance Officers at every US embassy and consulate, and concerned citizens who help military and overseas voters navigate the complex and laborious absentee voting process.
