This group is made up of retired Fire Fighters and/or their spouses from the three Fire Districts in West Haven, Connecticut - Allingtown, First District and West Shore.
THE MAJOR OBJECTIVE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS TO ASSIST OUR MEMBERS IN PROTECTING THEIR INTERESTS AND THAT OF THEIR SPOUSES. IT IS THE ONLY COLLECTIVE REPRESENTATION A RETIREE HAS. IT IS NECESSARY TO NOTE THAT WE HAVE NO LEGAL RIGHT TO REPRESENT OUR MEMBERS, BUT WE HAVE THE MORAL AND ETHICAL RIGHT TO REPRESENT THEM, AND INDEED THE ONLY SUCH GROUP OF IT'S KIND TO SO CLAIM.
This group also is the fraternal association of retired fire fighters interested in continuing bonds and friendships established over careers in the fire services of West Haven. We meet three times a year to discuss issues of mutual interest. In addition, we plan activities for our members to participate in and enjoy each other's company. If you are a retired member or spouse of a retired member of one of the fire districts in West Haven Connecticut, please join us. If you are a visitor, welcome to our site.
