In this session, Chris Gruener will describe the current trends and landscape of the book publishing industry, covering both traditional and self-publishing (and everything in between, including the growing popularity of the "hybrid" publishing model).

He'll discuss all of the different facets of publishing including:

• writing, development and editing

• book design and layout

• production and printing

• sales, distribution and marketing.

Gruener will also talk about the various reasons for publishing a book, and which model might best fit your needs.

Feel free to bring a bag lunch.

$5 suggested donation at the door – help us keep the lights on and keep great programs coming your way!  (WORK Members free)
