There is a process and an approach to being a designer. There is a method to it. Design methodology, much like the scientific method, is a particular way of looking at the world, breaking things down and reconstructing them in new and better ways.

The word design is derived from the Latin, dēsignāre: to mark out. We will explore what that means, how it applies to the work you do, and how you can use this process to make anything better. Yes, anything.
