Unless you properly archive your digital images, your grandparents' family photos will still be around long after yours are gone! We'll discuss technologies, techniques, and devices that will give you the best chance of keeping your digital photos alive for decades... or centuries. Phil will demonstrate best practices for image cataloging and backup using both Adobe Lightroom and his own Lightsage photography software.

Bio: Phil Beffrey was the founder of Digital Arts; original designer/developer of the Nuke visual effects system; developer of numerous 3-D technologies for Pixar; creator of the Cricut electronic cutting machine for scrapbookers; and other stuff in the health-and-medicine, music, astronomy, and artificial intelligence fields. His current project is Lightsage, photography software for serious old-school photographers... like him.
