Everyone knows the importance of planning, especially strategic planning for organizations and coalitions. We also know that good plans are very difficult to create – nearly impossible for a small company. Worse, they rarely work as we think they should. Drawing on a decade of research and new insights into cognition and complexity, Dr. Steve Wallis brings new insights into the planning process with knowledge mapping.

In this session, participants will learn:

· Basics of knowledge mapping

· Predicting how well a plan might work

· Creating plans that are more likely to succeed

· Mapping as a tool to build collaboration and understand client needs

Imagine what you might accomplish if your plans would work twice as well as before?
