About WOW- SINGLES WALKING GROUP THAMES VALLEY

WOW is a Singles walking group, and I would like to stress that it is not intended as a dating site. Members come along to enjoy walks in the countryside with like minded people, and to make new friends who they have something in common with. WOW gives people the chance to meetup with other single people who have similar interests and to make new friends, but without the one to one pressure that often comes from meeting people on the Internet and dating sites. Please note that WOW headquarters are based in West Oxfordshire, if you wish to join us for any of the walks there you are more than welcome to join us, JUST FOLLOW THE LINK ......OXFORDSHIRE
There is also a WOW group in Gloucestershire, started in 2009 it is a fast growing group and is run by Bern to see the walks and events....WOW GLOUCESTERSHIRE



Anyone who is single, widowed, divorced or separated is welcome to join WOW. If by any chance, members should meet that special someone through the group, and they become an 'item', then good luck to them, it does not mean that they are barred from WOW, they are more than welcome to continue on the walks and social Meetups as before, after all they are part of the WOW success story.

WOW is a dog friendly walking group, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing or canine friends running free across the fields. I would ask that dog owners respect the fact that not all walkers feel the same, and do not wished to be either knocked over or soaked to the skin, by your over exuberant pets. So please make sure that you keep a watchful eye on what your pet is getting up to at all times.

Although we don't rush the walk, most people like to keep up a moderate pace, so please make sure that you are fit enough to keep up with the group , before they sign up for walks, especially the longer ones. It makes it very difficult if I have people at the back, and the rest of us have to keep stopping for them to catch up.
Members feedback is very important, to me. I cannot put on any social events on, if I don;t know what people expect from the group. I do need volunteers, people who are willing to organize and lead a walk now and again, or, someone who can put together social evenings. Just mail me the full details and as long as it doesn't clash with anything else I will post it on the calendar.
