Since June of 2010, The West Seattle Tool Library has provided free access to over a 1,500 tools to any resident in our community who can show a couple forms of ID and sign their name.  Over 450 residents have taken The Tool Library up on that offer and formed a great community of DIYers, makers, and students.  We invite you to join the community as well.

The Tool Library and its 500 square foot workshop are both member-run.  All are welcome. No tool, workshop, or DIY experience necessary.  Whatever you could bring to the group will be appreciated!

Location:

Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, 4408 Delridge Way SW, Seattle, WA, 98106

Tool Library Open Hours:

Thursdays 6pm-9pm

Saturdays 9am-2pm

Sundays 1pm-5pm

The Community Workshop is open on weekends during Tool Library hours for a fee of $5/hour or by appointment at any other free time for $30/hour.  If you're interested in using the shop, please feel free to contact our part-time Manager, Micah Summers, at library@wstools.org.

We hope to see you soon!
