This 3 hour "Introduction to Bagua" was amazing. We learned some key moves and theories and then took it outside to the grassy gardens of the Country Village. It was wonderful practicing in nature, even the roosters joined in. Bagua is the perfect martial art for energy workers, of all ages, who already have an understanding of how to focus and work with energy. The instructor, Dennis Mace, from Mace Martial Arts, has worked with energy and various forms of Martial Arts his whole life and brings his innate awareness and understanding of the arts and energy to this ancient, "Internal" Chinese martial art. Bagua's Circular Art of Transformation focuses on core-strength, balanced alignment, fluid evasion, and maintaining a calm mind while moving. We will be having many more opportunities to learn Bagua. I hope you join us for our next session. Dennis is also a member of this meet-up group. Here is his site or email him. http://www.macemartialarts.com/mace-martial-arts/.
