Point Pinole Regional Shoreline
5651 Giant Highway, Richmond CA 94806
Park entrance is next to West County Justice Center (jail).
6:45 pm PROMPTLY
Meetup by the information kiosk by the trailhead.
Nominal elavation change. 6.3 miles 2.5 hours 3.2 mph pace during first half then a little slower pace. We need to make the beach access at Whittell Marsh before the tide or feet might get wet.
Bring a flashlight. We will be way out on Point Pinole when it gets dark. In the woods. This is not a good time to be seperated from the group.
If you do not stay with the group the organizer will not be on the lookout for you. It is recommeded that you obtain a map at the begining of the hike in case the group is seperated. At the half way point I can give you directions for a shortcut that probably will return you to your car.
Dogs on leash first 150 yards and at half way point (restrooms and drinking fountain).
