Wake Audubon Society is happy to let you know about the
Chapel Hill Bird Club monthly meeting.

CHBC has monthly meetings from September through May. We meet at 7:30 pm on the fourth Monday of the month at Binkley Baptist Church, in the Lounge. Binkley is at 1712 Willow Drive in Chapel Hill, at the intersection with 15-501 near University Mall (map with meeting room pinned (http://www.google.com/maps?q=35.92905,-79.02535)). Visitors welcome! Come at 7:15 for light refreshments. No meeting in December and this year, our May meeting is one week earlier (May 21) to avoid a conflict with Memorial Day (May 28).

May 21, 2012 - Chapel Hill Bird Club members Tom and Barbara Driscoll will share pictures and stories from their recent trip to Australia. They visited New South Wales (Sydney), the Northern Territory (Alice Springs and Ayers Rock),and Western Australia (Perth). Featured birds include Major Mitchell's Cockatoos, emu-wrens, fairy-wrens, and many raptors. Tom and Barbara are environmental scientists at EPA. As usual, Tom will have New Hope Audubon bird houses for sale.

Admission is free and the public is invited.
