Walk Insolite is about discovering long-ago Paris.

I love exploring cities. I love walking & learning about our shared histories through buildings and streets and people. My "walk insolite" is a creative exploration--a fictional invention that takes you into a story I've written especially for a particular neighbourhood. 

Each month, we choose a new 'quartier' and take a 90-minute walk through that area, finishing up our time in a beautiful cafe.

A little bit about me: My work has appeared in guidebooks by Fodors, Michelin and Time Out and papers like The Chicago Tribune, The Globe and Mail, and Billboard Magazine. My first book was called “a masterpiece” by Geist Magazine. My recent novel RATS OF LAS VEGAS is “as enticing as the lit-up Las Vegas strip and as satisfying as a winning hand at poker” (says The Winnipeg Free Press). And my favourite street in Paris is rue Lepic.
