STEP UP YOUR WALKING ROUTINE.... WALK THIS WAY!

Do you want to meet others interested in walking for fitness, fun, and sport? Are you interested in improving your walking technique, getting more benefit from your walks, and training for local races? Join us.

Walk This Way is a training/racing group for walkers located in Dallas TX. We are all about getting people motivated, and promoting walking as a sport and fun fitness activity. We offer great information and support for everyone - whether you walk for general fitness or you're training for a challenging event. Our members are walking everything from 5ks to ultra marathons.

- Enjoy the great outdoors
- Meet new friends or reconnect with old friends
- Get fit
- Early morning walks at White Rock Lake
- Occasional fitness hikes
- Periodic classes to improve walking technique
- Fall half marathon training begins in July
- Opportunity to participate with our group in local races
- No children or pets please

Want to attend?

This walk is for our half marathon trainees and any others wanting to increase distance. The distance of this walk will gradually increase over our training period. Everyone walks their own pace, but walkers of similar pace usually choose to stick together. Walkers are always welcome to join us at the start and turn around early to walk a shorter distance.
