TWO HEADS (or eight for that matter :)) CAN MORE THAN ONE HEAD - being an independent entrepreneur, building business on your own, does not have to deprive you from cooperation with others and use of creative potential of a larger group. Mastermind is a concept of group creative problem solving and supporting each other in getting more effective and efficient in strategic and operational activities. The goal is a common search for solutions to the challenges of group members and providing support in the implementation of chosen plans . During the meetings we use tools such as creative brainstorming, networking, goal setting and monitoring implementation. Meetings must be valuable , inspiring and enriching for everyone in the group . This means that each participant both uses what others contribute to his/her challenges, and he/she brings value to the other participants. By joining the mastermind group you agree to actively participate in all meetings through open sharing of knowledge, experience, ideas, insights, feedback, your network etc., everything that can help other participants and the whole group to develop and realize their goals .  Mastermind Meetings are based on some basic assumptions: - principle of confidentiality - everything that occurs during the meeting stays in the group of participants, especially since some topics may be sensitive and participants, in order to reach their goals, may become vulnerable. - the owner of the ideas developed in the group is the group, everyone in the group can use all the ideas that group comes up with, but it is not recommended to share them outside the group. - mastermind group members are people with diverse experiences from various industries, representing businesses that do not compete with each other - participants must be willing to participate regularly in meetings The group may also establish other rules , by which participants want to operate. Entrepreneurs and business owners participating in Mastermind groups most frequently mention the following benefits of participation in the meetings : - Source of new ideas and fresh perspectives - through participating in the Mastermind group I have access to ideas and solutions, and other perspectives on my own business, which normally would not have been possible - Stimulation of self-development and motivation for action that enables faster achievement of objectives - receiving the ideas and solutions from others makes me somehow feel obliged to use the best of them and inform the group on the progress and outcomes - Shortening the learning process - all participants learn from each other and benefit from all generated ideas and solutions.   Meetings are conducted by trained moderators (in this case one of the coaches and trainers of Inspiration Partners - Coaching & Development). They have business experience and support entrepreneurs in developing their businesses on a daily basis. Moderators ensure the proper conduct of meetings, organize and record all ideas, care about balanced contribution of all participants, guard the time that is spent on each of the participants and distribute summary of the meeting among all participants. Moderator can also bring hos/her own ideas and solutions that are as valuable as those of any other participant. Typically, the group has four to eight members, who meet regularly, usually once every two weeks or once a month depending on the preferences of the group and expectations of its members. Depending on the number of participants, a meeting lasts from 1.5 to 3 hours. The final frequency and length of meetings depends on the preferences and expectations of the participants and the goals of the group. Normally meetings are conducted according to the agenda, in which each participant has a couple of minutes to present their challenge or problem and then for approximately 15 minutes the group generates solutions and ideas on this particular issue. Each participant is given the same amount of time. Meetings can also be carried according to different scenario, depending on the needs of the group. I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
