What better way to start off a Saturday morning than helping out the local community?

For the annual Reddit Dedicated Day of Service this year for Washington DC, we can lend a helping hand to Food For All DC, a non-profit charity that delivers to the elderly, handicapped, and others in situations of need.

What is it? At 9 AM, we would prepare and pack boxes of groceries(The packing usually takes about 45 mins to 1 hr). Afterwards we are given assigned routes and go around the city to deliver the food to the clients. These routes normally contain between 6-8 deliveries and take about 1-2 hours.

For bonus real-life karma, Food For All DC kindly asked for volunteers to bring their own cars to help with deliveries. If you can't drive, you can also sign up as a navigator and help drivers find their destinations.

See you all there!
