Drink Beer and Learn Lockpicking

"Last month, almost 50 redditors took over The Board Room to learn lockpicking, drink beer, and meet new people. It went better than we could possibly have expected, so of course we're back for more.

If you've ever been interested in picking up the skill (security folks, mechanically inclined, mechanically dis-inclined, looking to up your geek cred, secretly want to be James Bond, whatever), now's your chance.

I will have all the materials you need to get started or, if you've tried in the past, I can help you pick up where you left off. No experience necessary, and feel free to bring a friend.
The Board Room at Dupont Circle 1737 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20009 Starting at 6:30pm, I'll be there for a couple of hours or so. Happy hour prices until 7:00. We'll be at the upstairs bar. I'm Preston, I'll be the guy with the dark beer and a toolbox of locks.

Your questions, answered:
Yes, the lockpicking is free (both free as in beer and free as in open). The beer, alas, is not free, but it is discounted during happy hour.
Under 21 is okay! I talked to the bar and they said an arrangement can be made. Come early, ask nicely, do what the nice man says, and don't screw it up for other people.
If you can't make this one (it's the holiday-party time of year and all (and finals!)), no worries. The next one is already scheduled for Tuesday, January 7."

Weather update: They say we're going to have up to 5 inches of snow tomorrow. Applying the DC Snow Adjustment Factor™ means that works out to about an inch and some rain, amirite? Kidding aside, we're go unless things go truly pear shaped. I'll update again about an hour before hand, and if you can't come, don't worry, there's always next month!
