PLEASE READ THROUGH THE GAME RULES AT LEAST ONCE TO FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH GAMEPLAY.

To host this meetup, we will need at least 25 people to RSVP (that is, 25 players)! Tell your friends! Event and location is dependent on the weather:

Good/decent weather: Event held at Montrose Park (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=montrose+park&hl=en&hq=montrose+park&t=h&vpsrc=0&z=14&iwloc=A) in Washington, D.C.

Cold/Snowy weather: Event held at Fort Reno Park (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=fort+reno+park&hl=en&ll=38.951733,-77.075551&spn=0.00836,0.014827&fb=1&gl=us&hq=fort+reno+park&hnear=fort+reno+park&cid=0,0,14894089574555562332&sqi=2&t=h&z=16&vpsrc=0&iwloc=A) in Washington, D.C. This is due to the nearby library, in case it gets too cold for some people, as well as the parking lot and proximity to the Tenleytown metro.

Bad weather: Event will be postponed to a later date.

If you would like to be an original zombie, please comment or email Alex and he will add you to the list.

*[2011/11/19 20:06:22] MEMO: Only one human survived the November outbreak at Montrose Park. However, the other less fortunate humans did buy us enough time to quarantine the area - D.C. shall remain safe from the zombies, for now...

*[2011/11/21 09:01:17] Incoming Transmission: The quarantine may not have been successful. Sightings of zombie-like creatures in the DC/Metro area.
*[2011/11/21 18:07:34] Incoming Transmission: Sightings confirmed. Zombies have been sighted at Fort Reno Park in Washington, D.C. (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=fort+reno+park&hl=en&ll=38.951733,-77.075551&spn=0.00836,0.014827&fb=1&gl=us&hq=fort+reno+park&hnear=fort+reno+park&cid=0,0,14894089574555562332&sqi=2&t=h&z=16&vpsrc=0&iwloc=A)Zombies have been reported attacking the quarantine at Montrose Park in Washington, D.C. (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Montrose+Park&hl=en&ll=38.913977,-77.060852&spn=0.008365,0.014827&sll=38.884914,-77.275072&sspn=0.033472,0.059309&vpsrc=6&gl=us&hq=Montrose+Park&t=h&z=16) Requesting assistance. *[2011/11/22 09:45:23] Incoming Transmission: New reports from SciOps suggest operations to commence on 2011/12/17. SciOps report also recommends a minimum of 25 operatives to be necessary for survival.

What should I bring?

Costumes: Zombie costumes are encouraged, especially if you want to be the "Original Zombie" or a special zombie (rules may be modified to incorporate amazing costumes).
Weapons: Weaponry is a must-have if you expect to survive, but please limit to Nerf guns soft ammunition and rolled-up socks. If you don't already have a Nerf gun, rolled-up socks are a great alternative. Bring as much as you can carry, but remember that you'll be expected to clean up after yourself and take home what you bring. If you have extra guns, please bring them to share with players who don't have one. If you borrow a gun, please take care of it, and return it when you're done! Modified nerf guns are allowed, but we will be testing the gun on the person who brings it.Misc: Water, snacks, flashlight, attire suitable for running
