Join us for the monthly MongoDC Meetup!
This month looks like a great meeting! Following last month's introduction to fractal tree indexing from Tokutek, we have a real-world use case from AOL.
We've got room for one more presenter, too. Let Nathen know if you're interested.
6:30-7:00: meet, greet, & eat
7:00-7:15: welcome, announcements, & introductions
7:15-9:00: Presentations & Discussions
TokuMX, a real world use case - John Schulz, Chief Architect, AOL - Needless to say The numbers wont be anywhere near as impressive as the TokuMX marketing number. And there are a few important things to keep in mind. TokuMX is not magic and while it is really an important step forward for the MongoDB community it does introduce some very real tradeoffs when compared to vanilla MongoDB.
This meetup is being held at Logik in DC. See you there!
Do you have a topic that you'd like to present or one that you like to see covered? Please contact the organizers and let us know! This is a great venue for lightning talks, first time presenters, and deep technical dives. We all want to hear from you.
