Speaker:
Adil Yalçın (https://www.meetup.com/Washington-Viz-ards/members/39583722/)believes that interaction and visualization design is the key to making effective interfaces to information. He will speak about a human-centered approach to data exploration using visualization, share his inspirations on design-thinking, and show how Keshif, a new exploration tool, can be used to explore new data sources. Adil is a PhD candidate at the Human Computer Interaction Lab of UMD, College Park.
After the presentation we'll discuss the Visualization Challenge and you'll have a chance to share your favorite visualizations.
