The Washington Area Theater Group is all about attending local theater and the arts!  Our meetups will vary from local community theater such as The Little Theater of Alexandria, to Comedy Clubs such as The Riot Act Comedy Theater, to Broadway shows at the Kennedy Center and beyond. If you would like to join other theater lovers, this is the group for you!  I plan to schedule events at least on a monthly basis, perhaps more in the spring/summer months.  We will usually meet up before the show for a bite to eat (unless the venue supplies food, such as The Riot Act), either for lunch or dinner (or brunch!), depending on show time.  Feel free to suggest your favorite eatery! 

We are always open to your suggestions and encourage you to use the SUGGEST A NEW MEETUP feature.  It only takes 3 people to turn a suggested meetup into an official one! 

By now most of you are familiar with meetup.com and know how to use the RSVP feature.  Please show up when you say you will or otherwise change your RSVP to a "NO."  Unlike many other sites, there is no "penalty" for no-shows at this point. I may revise this policy at a later date, however; I prefer to believe you all know the 'rules' by now.   Let's just get together and have some fun!
