You will not find many total "Meetups" as such listed on this website calendar.

This is due to a lack of funcitionality of the Meetup Website, and not because we don't have a great many things posted into the calendar!  If you would look at our Meetup calendar you will find a great many posted events that will give you a many interesting events occuring around the area.

We have set up this Meetup Site to function as your 'homebase' so that you can find conveniently in one location many harbor/waterfront/river/ecology events.

Most of the calendar items in this Meetup are posted as 'notes' instead of a 'Meetup' and therefore do not have an RSVP function.

Please expore this site thoroughly: Look not only at the calendar, but also the links in the Message Board (http://www.meetup.com/Waterfront-Alli......) .
We welcome your suggestions about this site and about any other groups or events you would like to see posted here.

This will be also your opportunity to meet others in the NY-NJ Metropolitan area interested in making our waterfront vibrant and accessible with great parks, great jobs, and healthy communities.
