Lost Cove Ghost Town settlement, Erwin, Tennessee.

Please join 0-100 Hiking.We have two groups going from 0-100.(group #1 and group # 2)

Everyone, I am planning this adventure for us. We will be going to a Ghost Town, some say it’s a little scary. If any of you want to backpack you are welcome, me I will stay in a cabin. You will need to read all of the next, most of you read over our event. There will be a test on this event to make sure you have all the info. before you leave Charlotte, NC, LOL!! But it’s true.
I am planning this in May if the weather is warm enough.
Railroad came. People came. Railroad left. Town died.
It is very, very rugged. Lots of hiking involved. (If you want)

0-100 will be going on Fri. June 3 and stay for the weekend. Their is camping as well or if you want to camp out or rent a cabin near by. let me know.

Lost cove is one of the most legendary ghost towns in the Eastern United States. The community was most likely founded during the Civil War era, although a few accounts hint that two families from a Daniel Boone expedition originally settled the area. Lost Cove grew into a self-sustaining, thriving agricultural community until the railroad brought timber and railroad jobs around 1910.
