Hike to The Eaton Canyon Falls!

A short hike to the Eaton Falls via a short ~2 mile trail (~4 miles roundtrip) sounds like a lovely way to begin a Saturday morning to us!

With the recent rains in January, we’re hoping to catch some of the spring wildflowers that will carpet the lower portions of the canyon floor, and of course the highlight will be the sweet waterfall at our ultimate destination where we can chill out for a few minutes, grab some shade and enjoy the natural surroundings.

Our hike will take place on Saturday, March 14th starting at 7:30am. We will meet at 7:15 at the trailhead and leave for the falls at 7:30 sharp.

(FYI: To be clear, we’re talking about the lower falls here, NOT the upper falls that have been deemed off-limits due to multiple hiking groups getting stranded and requiring rescue assistance!).

We’re trying to limit the hike group to around 30 people, so please respect the RVSP (technically there’s nothing stopping you from going on your own, but for the sake of the trail, it’ll probably be better if there aren’t 100 folks swarming it all at once).
