We Make Meetup-June 2012

Hey everyone,

We have another meetup scheduled for next Saturday, June the 16th at 7:00pm. Our host again is Modern Market, and we have a great evening lined up.

The speaker will be Sam Kane of Alchemy Lounge. He is a popup bar extraordinaire, and he will be in talking about his work, the drinks he makes, and he will be making drinks for us. Anna and I, Modern Market, and Goat Studio will be subsidizing a handful of drinks, and the rest will be cash bar, so bring some bills, and get ready to find out about the natty side of adult beverages (Mad Men attire not required).

Alchemy lounge is a pop up speak easy and catering company created by bartenders Sam Kane and Steve Yomada. This company was created to both promote the craft cocktail culture and expose more and more people to the evolution of the drinking world. Through fresh fruit and ingredients, as well as classic and contemporary technique, Alchemy Lounge wishes to bring the cocktail culture to the homes and offices of people through catering events, as well as aid other restaurants achieve a higher standard of tending bar through our menu consultation service.
