I am Ian, hope you can make it.

As the title states the next meeting will be where to get stuff, or where to get it

This will be a theory meeting discussing where in Toronto to 1/3 aquire products for hobbies, and crafts, 1/3 as well as where to get training; schools, online sources for technologies. 1/3 As well as build for the meeting I was thinking about MS Access 2013. 1/3 indicates time spent on each topic.

A detail agenda to follow later.

The meeting will focus on where to buy say electronics in Toronto. What the major retailers have in store, for large crafts princess auto is new store. And online sources. Regions in Toronto to buy. Last meeting we briefly talk about hobby and electronic stores. We can talk about College street stores, Sayal, and key places around the GTA. As well the major retailers, I worked in retail hardware some of the stores have different items. The source has some electronic components. I will get catolges for the meetings.

As well where to get training. There is the tradition schools where people can get training. As well as new sources online/distance/private education places. The meeting will consist of key courses what if offered to some existent. A topic for example where in Toronto can you take machine shop. Last week we discussed Solidworks, it is available at the colleges Seneca, Humber, and George Brown. I discussed the other week with a ITT, a private college which plans to expand in computer aided design courses.

For a project i thinking of doing a run throw of MS Access 2013, basic database. Showing basic function.

Inadition as was the case last meeting there will be videos of interest.

Last meeting people where interested in the online video, please if you have something of interest please come and share.

If people want to bring a project to build and it may not be accomandated by a normal restuarant let me know and I will see if it can be used in the meeting

May's meeting went well a good full two hours. Good particaption.

A space and location will be provided. Think of it as a classroom for build your projects.

As each meeting will have a focus assignments and projects if you like, but the focus will meeting to come together design and build in a meetup setting.

Just bring a diagram or an idea as group we can work to gther give ideas about how to create and design, Just a diagram on paper.

Just a reminder anyone is welcome to do meeting of there own, one has been done before. Completely on your own, or with help from others or myself.

The machinist meeting went well. Mainly consisted of demstration of the caliper and Micrometer the staple of machinist. And drilling and filing metal. An individual brought Computerized Machinist work for display, another had an idea about bike rack/pull up bar. I have put instructions about custom dumbell there on the site. We talk about technical writing.

Ideas for the meeting more than welcome. Discussion of members project ideas sounds like a good idea, like discussion of a bike rack, web page, a member had an idea of creating custom tomato planter. Future meetings to follow. Ideas welcome.

FYI Information

The site is a normal restuarant tables and chairs, wi fi available, very nice site with ofcoarse normal power outlet.
