This group is about BUILDING NET WORTH- plain and simple.
I want to cultivate a group of active participants where members can take turns giving wealth building presentations. The focus of the group will be on entrepreneurial activities such as small business development and investing/trading. We will share our knowledge and resources (e.g educational materials) with the common goal of building net worth.
When you join, at some point you will be allowed the opportunity (if you so desire) to give a 30 minute presentation on an idea you have (be it one you have already tried or one you want the group to discuss) for building net worth.
If you are uncomfortable with public speaking, that's no problem. If you so desire you can contribute by being part of a small group and doing research for the group presentation rather than the actual speaking.
Or if you prefer, you can simply attend the meetings and listen to the ideas of others.
As the group grows, I hope to add "guest speakers" with wealth building expertise to give presentations. I hope to build a library of educational materials (books, DVDs, CDs, etc.) to which members will have access.
My belief is that we can all benefit from the group experience because you can always learn something from someone else.
Membership costs $20 for 12 months. I allow everyone to attend their first meetup for free to see if the group is right for them. If they decide to drop out at that point they owe nothing. If they decide to remain in the group then the $20 becomes due at their second meetup.
Also, depending on the venue, there may be small charges of $10-$20 per person per event for room rental and refreshments which will be listed on a case by case basis.
