Speaker: Alois Reitbauer - Measuring User Performance in the Browser

New emerging standards of the W3C Web Performance Working Group will enable deeper visibility into the performance of web applications than ever before. Alois will provide an overview of the currently evolving standards and then discuss the diagnostics functionality of the new standards in detail. Finally he will also show a small example of how these standards will make the diagnosis of desktop and mobile web applications easier.

Alois Reitbauer used to focus on performance in the server and back-end systems. A couple of years ago he shifted his efforts to the frontend and now mobile performance. He is part of the team developing dynaTrace Ajax Edtion as well as commercial solutions for Web Performance optimization. When his time permits he still is hands-on in the field helping companies to optimize and manage the performance of their critical applications.
