React Performance in the Age of AI
Cloudflare NYC HQ, 1 World Trade Center, 88th floor, New York, NY, USNow that AI is writing code for us, and we’re writing more code than ever, keeping an eye on the performance of our applications is essential for fighting that AI-sloppy feeling and ensuring users continue to have a great experience using your app.
Come learn from Jenna, a seasoned performance engineer with experience keeping complex apps like Slack and Notion fast, as she discusses strategies for ensuring your web app continues to run speedily and also how to pair with AI to debug performance issues when things start to lag.
One morning, Jenna Zeigen (@zeigenvector) awoke to find that she had transformed into a programmer, and she’s been psyched about JavaScript ever since. She’s made a niche for herself making complicated web apps faster by building a performance culture rooted in understanding the inner-workings of the systems the app is built on. Outside of this, Jenna has been an organizer of several JavaScript communities and gets immense joy out of explaining complex topics in unique ways.
We will have food and drinks and as always, we are going to have geekaways with geeky prizes provided by our sponsors.
