$1.00 (any amount welcomed)
Why: Monthly Meetup: defray hosting fees. Some events may also cover food or venue.
The Web Design Meetup is an open floor forum for people with Web-related problems or interests. No matter what your background or skill level, amateur or expert, freelancer, entrepreneur, developer, or other, you're welcome to attend!
Attendance is usually diverse and mixed. Ticker topics are set in advance to spur ideas. The format for the regular monthly meetup is always "open floor". People should feel at ease to raise issues that concern them and ask for help. Contributions are completely voluntary. The most important contribution you can make is leading a discussion or offering a tutorial.
So whether you're a designer with a Web business, a businessperson with a site, or a novice with technical questions, please come on out and join us. No doubt you'll find someone here who can respond.
[i]A personal note: As principal organizer I welcome the involvement of other Web designers and developers at all levels. So go ahead and join the group if your interest is in finding potential clients and skill resources. I also encourage those who have the enthusiasm for it, to participate as meeting moderators and, where there is interest in additional meetings, as assistant organizers. It's your ballgame, I'm just here to coach. [i]
Let's talk turkey . . . oh what an old cliche.
Seriously, turkey puts me to sleep!
What topic would you like? Code talk anyone? Flexible design for accessibility? or whatever topic you'd like. We have one more Tuesday lunch before the evening meetup and the last one was so interesting that I'd just like to talk more with everyone. Read more

“ There is always a benefit to meeting others with similar interests as conversation always brings out a new or different idea or perspective. ”
“ This is a well educated group with diverse web development knowledge and talents. If you want to expand, or even start, your skills in the Internee's development you should attend these meetups. ”
