October Meetup Featuring My Robot Nation!

Please join us for the October WebGL Developers Meetup featuring My Robot Nation.

My Robot Nation allows everyone, everywhere to quickly and easily personalize a 3D object (a robot!) in their browser with WebGL, then order their unique creation as a full-color 3D print delivered to their door.  We will be showing how WebGL is used on the site, as well as some behind the scenes tools that help us get assets ready for the Web.  Soon, you can see it at http://www.myrobotnation.com when we go live shortly!

Graciously hosted by Autodesk at their San Francisco campus.

    Hey,
Would anyone be posting more videos/slides online for those who couldn't make it. (or folks not in California like me)
Posting the entire ustream feed in its entireity is really helpful. :) Thanks for that. [any videos of previous meetups?]

Full agenda for tomorrow night! First, we'll get a quick view into what Autodesk is doing with WebGL. Then Ken Russell (WebGL wg chair) will show come cool new demos from Google (always sure to please).

Next up, Rudy Cazabon will give an update on the work coming out of the Rest3D working group - standardized APIs for storing and retrieving 3D data in the cloud.

FINALLY, our featured presenters from My Robot Nation!

This is going to be fun.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
